These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Shrutam learning app and website (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
1. Your account
- Provide accurate sign-up information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your OTP/password private.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
- Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Upload content you don’t have the right to share, or that is unlawful or offensive.
- Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
3. Saavi & AI-generated content
“Saavi” and other AI features generate explanations, answers, and practice. AI can be wrong or incomplete. Use it as a study aid, verify important information, and do not rely on it as a substitute for professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.
4. Educational content
Content is provided for personal, educational use. Curriculum references are used to ground learning; they remain the property of their respective owners. You may not redistribute Service content except as the Service allows.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of notes and material you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to operate the features you use (for example, organising and sharing notes you choose to share).
6. Availability & changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
7. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that risk harm to other users or the Service. You can delete your account at any time (अपना → Danger zone).
8. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shrutam is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
